TRACK & FIELD

The Lyons were in action at the ECAC Championships last weekend as four student-athletes competed.  Sophomore captain Camille Coklow (Chicago, Ill.) paced the way, finishing third in the 100-dash, while junior Amber Legare (Chicopee, Mass.) was 10th in the grueling Heptathlon. Senior captain Kristina Weld (Warwick, Mass.) was 18th in the hammer throw, while junior captain Dana Fry (Tempe, Ariz.) was 27th in the 10,000-meter run.

Coklow, who posted a season's-best time of 12.07 at ECACs, will now represent the Lyons at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the second straight year. She will compete in the preliminaries of the 100-dash on Friday, May 23rd at 7:30pm. The finals of the 100-dash will be on Saturday at 3:15pm. This year's National Championships will be held at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
