Seniors Honored at Scholar Athlete Reception

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (May 2, 2012) – Prior to the annual athletics awards celebration last night, 27 Mount Holyoke seniors representing 12 teams were honored as part of the College's fourth annual Scholar Athlete Reception. The recognition event highlighted those student-athletes who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom. It was organized by Mount Holyoke Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Honorees included seniors with cumulative grade point averages of 3.5 or higher who have participated on a varsity team for three or more years. They were able to celebrate their accomplishments with select faculty at the event.
