The Lyons return to action on Saturday at the 2014 Winter Tournament of Champions, hosted by the University of Mary Washington in Virginia.
Mount Holyoke (6-2; dual meet) finished second of five teams at last weekend's Seven Sisters Championships. The Lyons were paced by sophomore Cathleen Pruden (Raleigh, N.C.), who was the only swimmer to win four individual events at the meet. Additionally, she achieved meet records in all four events, had an NCAA B Cut and set two school records.
The Lyons are now idle until Saturday when they host Wellesley at the MHC Natatorium at 1pm.
The #21 squash team (6-7) faced several tough teams at this weekend's Pioneer Valley Invitational, posting a 1-4 record over the three day event. They Lyons lone win came against Haverford - a 9-0 victory. Mount Holyoke returns to action on Sunday when they travel to Yale University for a pair of neutral site games against Colby (10am) and Bowdoin (11:30am).
MHC dropped NEWMAC games against Springfield (54-47), Wellesley (72-47) and WPI (63-56 OT) last week. Junior forward Amber Legare (Chicopee, Mass.) posted a double-double of 15.3 points and 11.7 rebounds over the three contests, while also adding five blocks and a team-high six steals. The Lyons (4-12; 1-10 NEWMAC) returns to action on Wednesday when they host Wheaton at 7pm. MHC closes out the week with a 1pm game at Clark.

Mount Holyoke returned to action last weekend at the non-team scoring Wesleyan Invitational. The Lyons were paced by several outstanding performances, including a win in the 800-meter run by sophomoreElizabeth DeLeon (Boise, Idaho). MHC returns to action on Saturday when it competes at the Smith College Benyon Invitational. Meet time is set for 11am.
