The Lyons return to action on Saturday when they compete at the UMass Horse Show.
Mount Holyoke (6-4; dual meet) is back in action on Friday when it heads to Worcester to compete in the 2014 NEWMAC Championships, hosted by WPI. Action at the meet runs through Sunday, the 23rd.
The #23 squash team (9-10) recorded an 8-1 win against #27 Connecticut College, but shouldered a 7-2 loss at #17 Amherst the following day. Senior captain Randima Ranaweera (Columbo, Sri Lanka) and sophomore Sherouk Khefagy (Cairo, Egypt) both went 2-0 on the week from the top and second spot in the ladder.
MHC returns to action on Friday when it travels to Princeton University to compete at the CSA National Championships. More information, including match-ups, will be available soon.
Junior forward Amber Legare (Chicopee, Mass.) broke the single-game record for rebounds, pulling down 26, while adding 20 points for her 13th double-double of the season as MHC defeated Emerson, 68-60. The previous record of 25 had stood since 1985-86. The Lyons shouldered a tough 64-40 at Coast Guard earlier in the week.
The Lyons (6-17; 3-15 NEWMAC) close out their home schedule on Wednesday when they host Springfield at 7pm at the Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium. MHC wraps-up its regular season on Saturday in a 2pm contest at Wellesley. Links to live stats and video for this week's games can be found HERE.
