RIDING

The Lyons will send 19 riders to the Regional Championships, which will be held on Saturday at Bisuit Hill Farm in Shelburne, Mass.

SWIMMING & DIVING

Sophomore Cathleen Pruden (Raleigh, N.C.) finished fourth in the 400-IM to garner National All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Championships last week. Her time of 4:22.84 not only eclipsed her own school record, but also surpassed her own NEWMAC Open Record. She also finished 19th in the 1650-freestyle (17:16.25) and 21st in the 200-IM (2:06.98), posting school records in both events as well. With her finish in the 400-IM, Pruden became the first swimmer in MHC history to finish in the top eight and the second swimmer to earn All-America honors (Katie Herrold '00 in 1997).

TRACK & FIELD

The Lyons will open the outdoor portion of their schedule on Saturday, April 5th at the Weselyan Invitational (11am). MHC was originally slated to host the Spring Fling Invitational this Saturday, but the meet had to be cancelled due to field conditions and weather concerns.

LACROSSE

MHC posted a 2-1 record last week with victories against Clarkson (15-11) and UMass-Dartmouth (17-6) during its Florida trip. The Lyons suffered a loss to Wheaton (15-8) in the NEWMAC opener last weekend. Junior captain Kirsten Kilburn (North Branford, Conn.) had an outstanding week, posting team-best's in goals (9), ground balls (19), draw controls (28) and caused turnovers (9).

The Lyons return to the field on Wednesday with a 5pm match against Westfield State. MHC then hosts Babson on Friday at 3pm. Live stats for both games and video links for Friday's game can be found HERE.

TENNIS

MHC (6-7) returns to action on Saturday when it faces Colby-Sawyer at the MHC Field House at 10:30am.

CREW

The Lyons open their spring slate on Saturday at the Amherst 4's Regatta. MHC is then slated to host Bryant on Sunday in the Game of the Week! The event on Sunday should begin around 9:30am.
