SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Sept. 3, 2010) - Mount Holyoke College is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned athletics website. Among the many new features are enhanced graphics, a user-friendly navigation, state-of-the-art statistical presentations, improved video displays and photo galleries. Over the course of the summer, Mount Holyoke's Office of Sports Information has worked collaboratively with PrestoSports to design and launch the new site - http://athletics.mtholyoke.edu.

Fans will now be able to participate in polls and follow team blogs. Historical information for many teams has already been added, and coach bios have been enhanced. Using the power of Presto's network, users can now access team standings without leaving the Mount Holyoke Athletics website.

"This is an exciting time for Mount Holyoke Athletics," said Sports Information Director Mike Raposo. "In addition to revamping many of our facilities over the past three years, we now have a new website to showcase all of the great things that are happening within the department. I have no doubt that our new site will keep fans, parents, alums, recruits and current student-athletes coming back day after day."

RSS feeds, social networking bookmarks and a weekly newsletter are also part of the new site. Users have the opportunity share content through Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Google Bookmarks, Digg and Delicious.
