THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke kicks off its home slate with a pair of matches this afternoon. After facing off against Tufts University at 12:00 p.m., the Lyons will meet up with Smith College at 4:00 p.m. Tufts and Smith will also go head-to-head at 2:00 p.m. In 16 previous matches against Tufts, Mount Holyoke has fallen 13 times. They fell to the Jumbos 6-3 when the teams last met during the 2005-06 season. Mount Holyoke owns a 28-19 record in 47 previous contests against longtime rival Smith. The Lyons have topped the Pioneers seven straight times.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke and Smith are both scheduled to take part in the Wesleyan University Round Robin from December 4-5. Meanwhile, Tufts will travel to Wellesley College on December 2 for a non-conference clash beginning at 7:00 p.m.
