Built in 1987, the Mount Holyoke College Equestrian Center is recognized as one of the finest facilities for educational and competitive riding available to students. The center supports three highly competitive and nationally successful teams, along with a vibrant Physical Education (PE) program that welcomes riders of all levels. With top-notch boarding, high-quality care, and expert training, the facility emphasizes the well-being of horses and riders alike. Our 59 stall facility offers expansive amenities including two indoor arenas, an oversize outdoor arena, permanent dressage arena, heated tack rooms, heated wash stalls, and full locker room for riders. Riders also enjoy access to trails with scenic acres of woods, fields, and streams, and Long’s Field. The Equestrian Center offers students exceptional resources and a nurturing environment for advancing their equestrian skills.
At just a short walk from the heart of Mount Holyoke’s campus, you are welcome to tour the MHC Equestrian Center at any time. The Equestrian Center encourages you to call 413-538-2272 or email prior to your visit to ensure a staff member or student is available to provide a warm welcome.
