Lyons Tales: A Review & Preview of Mount Holyoke Athletics for Nov. 28th

RIDING

The Lyons were idle over the holiday break, but return to action on Saturday when they travel to Ohio to compete at the Holiday Tournament of Champions event.

 

SWIMMING & DIVING

Mount Holyoke (1-3) was idle last week, but is back in action this weekend when it travels to  Hamilton College to compete in the Hamilton Invitational. Action begins on Friday at 5pm, with action concluding on Saturday starting at 10am.

 

SQUASH

The Lyons (2-5) were idle last week, but return to the courts on Tuesday when it hosts Tufts University at the MHC Squash Courts at 7pm.

 

BASKETBALL

First year Kathryn Violette (Yokosuka City, Japan) notched a team-high 15 points, but the Lyons fell at Elms College, 64-48 last Tuesday. Mount Holyoke (2-3) returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Clark to open NEWMAC action at 7pm. The Lyons will conclude the week on Saturday, hosting MIT at 1pm.

TRACK & FIELD

Under the direction of 30th-year head coach Tina Lee, the Lyons track & field team opens their 2016-17 campaign on Saturday at the Snowflake Invitational, hosted by Smith College.
