SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Feb. 28, 2013) - The field of competition for the 2013 CSA Individual National Championships has been announced and three Mount Holyoke College student-athletes have been selected. Randima Ranaweera, Sherouk Khefagy and Shaheen Madraswala will all compete in the Holleran Cup (Women's B Draw) beginning Friday at Trinity College.

Ranaweera, a junior captain out of Colombo, Sri Lanka, enters this weekend's action with a 17-1 overall record in the first position. A winner in each of her last 14 matches, her only loss on the season came against Trinity - the 2013 National runner-up - in early January. Ranaweera has also posted top-notch performances at the Seven Sisters Championship and the CSA National Championships, going 3-0 at each event. She was also a Seven Sisters All-Tournament Team selection.

The former Sirimavo Bandaranaike Girls School standout will face Haverford's Caroline Nightingale in Friday's opening round at 9am on court eight.

Khefagy, a first year who hails from Cairo, Egypt, has had an outstanding rookie campaign. Boasting a 16-4 overall record, which includes wins in each of her last nine matches, she has gone 14-4 from the second position and is 2-0 in the first flight.

Like Ranaweera, the International School of Choueifat graduate has excelled in tournament action this season, posting 3-0 records at both Seven Sisters and the CSA Nationals. She will face Dartmouth's Sarah Loucks at 9am on Friday on court seven.

Rounding out this years selections is Madraswala, a junior from Mumbai, India, who is currently 15-2 on the season. From the third position, she has gone 13-2, while boasting a 2-0 mark from the second flight.

Madraswala, who is a former standout at J.B. Petit, has won each of her last 14 matches and like her teammates that will join her in Hartford, she produced perfect 3-0 marks at Seven Sisters and the team Nationals. Additionally, Madraswala was an All-Tournament selection for Seven Sisters.

For the opening round, Madraswala will face Amherst's Arielle Lehman at 10:20am on Friday on court seven. This is the second meeting between the pair as Madraswala posted an 11-5, 11-6, 14-12 victory over Lehman on February 6 as Mount Holyoke shouldered a 6-3 team loss to the Jeffs.

This year's individual championships run from Friday through Sunday at Trinity, with the majority of play commencing over the first two days. The national championship matches will take place on Sunday with the women's final starting at 1pm.
