WELLESLEY, Mass. - First year June Conti sits in a tie for sixth after the first day of action at the Ann S. Batchelder Invitational, hosted by Wellesley College. Overall, four Lyons athletes sit in the top-20 as the team is third overall in a field of eight squads. Williams leads after the first day of action with an astounding score of 305, which is 20 strokes better than the second-place team.

Conti (Amenia, N.Y./Miss Porter's School) opened the first round action with a team-low score of 75. Fellow first year Allison Shilling (New Caanan, Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) sits in eighth overall with a mark of 81, while fellow rookie Caroline Rubino (Mansfield, Mass./Bishop Freehan) is tied for 12th with a score of 82.

Junior captain Madi Mendiola (San Diego, Calif./Rancho Bernardo) sits three strokes back from Rubino in 18th with a mark of 85, while first year Heeamin Lee (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Brookline) is tied for 30th with a mark of 92.

Individually, Lyons' rookie Amanda Lee (Windsor, Conn./Ethel Walker School) is tied for 30th with a score of 92, while Kelly McElreath (Oakland, Mich./Notre Dame Prep) sits in 38th with a score of 105.

Williams' Tracey Kim leads the field with a score of 74. Overall, the Ephs are in first with a score of 305 and are followed by Amherst (325), Mount Holyoke (327), New York University (327) and Vassar (360).

Final Round action begins Sunday morning.
