Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Recognition

South Hadley, Mass. - June 29, 2022 - The Mount Holyoke College swimming and diving team has once again been named a Scholar All-America Team after demonstrating excellence both in the pool and in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.

The Lyons registered a cumulative team GPA of 3.76 and was one of nine teams selected from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). Mount Holyoke's cumulative team GPA of 3.76 ranked No. 2 in the league, ahead of MIT, Wellesley and Wheaton.

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) selected 731 teams from 441 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2022 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2022 grade point averages and represent 17,845 student-athletes. 

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
