SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The Mount Holyoke College soccer team landed the maximum total of six players on the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Division III Women's Soccer Team, announced Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators (formerly known as CoSIDA).
Senior Grace Baines (Toronto, Ontario), senior Hannah Ellis (Londonderry, N.H.), junior captain Anna Kennedy (Glendale, Wis.), senior Avery Livingston (La Grange, Ill.), sophomore Schuyler Pettibone (Raleigh, N.C.), and junior Taryn White (Alexandria, Va.) were named to the squad.
The 2024 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The award is given to athletes who in addition to being impactful on their respective team, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and have achieved second year status at their academic institution.
Baines played in 15 games, making eight starts, and carries a double major in history and politics.
Ellis, a psychology and education major, played in all 16 games, making 13 starts, and tallied one assist.
Kennedy, a politics major, started and played in all 16 games, scoring a team-high three goals.
Livingston, a politics major, started in all 16 of the Lyons' games this season, finishing her career with 33 straight starts.
Pettibone, an environmental studies major, started all 16 games, and earned the second NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of her career.
White, a psychology and Spanish major, started all 16 games and led the Lyons in shots (21).
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
