SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke College Director of Athletics Andrea Ricketts-Preston announced staffing updates for four members of the Department of Athletics in preparation for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year.

Bardee Sadlier has been elevated to Senior Associate Director of Athletics from Associate Director of Athletics. "Bardee has worked incredibly hard to support our athletic department operations and I'm thrilled to recognize her with this distinction," said Ricketts-Preston. "Her attention to detail and organizational skills are second to none." Sadlier will also take on additional responsibilities  with assistant coach supervision.

Assistant Athletic Trainer Catie Gilman has been elevated to Associate Athletic Trainer. "Catie is a tireless worker and is deserving of this recognition and elevation," said Ricketts-Preston. "She centers our student-athlete's health and well-being and is proactive with our planning and staff training. I'm excited to be able to acknowledge Catie for all of her hard work and dedication."

Long-time head field hockey coach Andy Whitcomb will add the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) designation this year. "Andy is a highly respected member of the Mount Holyoke College community and I'm excited to have her on board in this role," said Ricketts-Preston. "She has already been instrumental with planning for our annual Athletics Day of Giving and will provide support for a number of other initiatives that our department will work on this year."

Head soccer coach Breena Proctor, who has served during the past year as interim senior associate director of athletics, will continue in her role as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee advisor. "Breena's work with our SAAC team this spring was commendable, and I'm really excited to have her remain in this role," Ricketts-Preston said. "She provides an opportunity for consistency as well as building on the outstanding momentum that they finished the spring with."
