BOSTON -- The Mount Holyoke College track and field team did not score any team points at the New England Division III Indoor Championships, which requires a top-eight event finish. But the Lyons made an outstanding showing at the two-day meet held at The Track at New Balance, with six athletes making waves on the program's all-time performance lists.

Sophomore Tessa Lancaster (Mansfield, Mass.) dropped over 13 seconds from her previous best time in the 3,000 meters, 10:37.55 from three weeks ago, to finish 11th out of 24 competitors with a time of 10:24.41, less than a second out of the top 10.

Mount Holyoke's 4x800-meter relay team concluded the meet by cutting 19 seconds off of its season-best time and moved into sixth place on the program all-time performance list. Sophomore Kim Beaver (Agawam, Mass.), sophomore Greta Trapp (La Crosse, Wis.), senior Devan Ravino (West Kingston, R.I.), and sophomore Olivia Johnson (Mount Desert, Maine) finished the race in 10:14.32, 13th place in the 19-team field.

Ravino earlier ran a new personal record time in the 800 meters, 2:25.05, which moved her from ninth into eighth place on Mount Holyoke's all-time performance list and put her in 22nd place out of 34 runners in the event. Beaver also ran a strong time in the 800 at 2:26.14, 0.71 seconds off her best and good for 28th place.

First-year Elle Rimando (Mililani, Hawaii) finished 17th in the triple jump with a top mark of 10.74 meters (35'3"), one centimeter ahead of her previous season-best. Rimando remains third on the team performance list, one centimeter behind second place.

Senior captain Emma Doyle (West Lebanon, N.H.) also represented the Lyons well, placing 12th out of 22 competitors in the shot put with a top mark of 11.01 meters (36'1.5").
