ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Mount Holyoke College squash team entertained no doubt about the outcome of its match at Bard College on Saturday, rolling to an 8-0 win while allowing the host Raptors only one game on the day.

The Lyons (2-7) were paced by first-year Sachary Rodriguez Robles' (Bronx, N.Y.) 3-0 win at the No. 1 position against Jacinta Creel, while sophomore Ku Paw (Hartford, Conn.) had a dominating 11-3, 11-3, 11-2 victory over Thenuri DeSilva at No. 2.

Also winning by 3-0 scores for the Lyons were sophomore Tina Mei (Brooklyn, N.Y.) at No. 3, senior Kyla Core (Philadelphia, Pa.) at No. 4, first-year Baya Jaiswal (Vaishali, India) at No. 5, first-year Lauren McCormick (Coopersburg, Pa.) at No. 7, and sophomore Amelia Arthur (Palo Alto, Calif.) at No. 8. Sophomore Lara Gao (Wuhan, China) won 3-1 at No. 6 to cap Mount Holyoke's convincing win.

Mount Holyoke next faces Bates College on Feb. 2 at 5pm, on a neutral-court match at MIT.
