The Lyons posted a dual meet record of 5-3 this season. In addition to picking up a thrilling 156-144 triumph over Smith in their regular season finale, they also claimed victories over Westfield State University, Western Connecticut State University, Clark University and Simmons College. In the early stages of the season, they secured first place at the Regis College Invitational.

First year Lauren Williams has figured in on 31 first place finishes to set the tone for Mount Holyoke. In addition to establishing a program record in the 200-yard backstroke (2:16.00), she also joined forces with first year Sin Seanne Ng, sophomore Madeline Magee and junior Lydia Bowers to break the school record in the 200-yard medley relay (1:55.59).

Bowers, Magee, Ng, sophomore Nora Cunningham and first year Allison Burhoe have also enjoyed productive seasons for the Lyons. Magee set a new program record in the 50-yard breaststroke (32.48).

Last winter, Mount Holyoke grabbed eighth place overall and shattered eight school records at the NEWMAC Championship.
