SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke College field hockey player Phoebe Aaronson was one of five Lyons student-athletes to receive 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District At-Large honors, announced Wednesday by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA).

Aaronson (Mountain View, Calif.) graduated from Mount Holyoke in December 2022, following an outstanding career in field hockey as well as in the classroom, where Aaronson double-majored in neuroscience and music and finished with a 3.81 cumulative grade point average. A two-year team captain, Aaronson excelled at the defense position, making 64 appearances including 47 starts and finishing with three goals and 10 assists.

Also earning a place on the 2022-23 Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams from Mount Holyoke were Hannah Bisson from the lacrosse team and Jocelyn Greer, Piper LaPointe, and Emma Waldron from the rowing team.
