THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke rounds out its home slate with a NEWMAC contest against Clark University Saturday afternoon (1:00 p.m.) at the Soccer Field. In 14 previous meetings between the programs, the Cougars own an 10-3 advantage. The teams have finished in a deadlock once. MHC Logo THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (1-12-1, 1-5-1 NEWMAC) suffered a 3-1 setback to Elms College when it last took the field on Thursday. Midfielder Mary Cooke recorded her first goal of the year off an assist from forward Jacquelyn Archibald. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Emily Shank collected six saves in her first collegiate start. Archibald's five points are good for tops on the team. She has delivered two goals and one assist. The Lyons have also received a boost from forward Margaret Hanmer, who has tallied a pair of goals. Midfielder Veronica Farmer has dished out a squad best two helpers, while Cooke and forward Mallory Phaneuf have added one apiece. On the defensive end, Elaine Harvey has  amassed 123 saves in 1,130 minutes played. The senior has posted a goals against average of 3.74 and a save percentage of .724. Shank has accumulated a goals against average of 3.41 in 158 minutes between the pipes.

Opponent Logo THE COUGARS: Clark (5-10-0, 2-5-0 NEWMAC) has picked up wins over Albertus Magnus College (2-0), Elms College (2-1), Worcester State College (1-0), Wheaton College (1-0) and Smith College (2-0) thus far this season. The Cougars have been paced by forward Erin Peete, who has collected nine points on four goals and a helper. Two of her tallies have gone down as match winners. Midfielder Megan O'Rourke has posted three goals, while forward Janelle Pasternack has dished out a team best four assists. Joanna Clark has played all 1369 minutes between the pipes for the Cougars. She owns a goals against average of 1.31 and a save percentage of .767.     

NEXT UP: Both squads will close out their regular seasons on the road next weekend. Mount Holyoke will face off against Springfield College on Friday at 7:00 p.m., while Clark will take on Wellesley College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
