Kurash extended the cushion to 2-0 with her first goal of the day in the 58th minute. She then set up forward Dasha Battelle's second goal of the year six minutes later.

Wesleyan put things out of reach with a three goal explosion over a span of 6:38. Kurash got the rally started at the 70:37 mark, and sophomore forward Katrina Ellis-Ferrara pushed the lead to 5-0 just under six minutes later. Junior midfielder Barrie Lindsay then capped off the run at the 77:15 mark.

The Cardinals (1-1-2, 0-0-2 NESCAC) outshot Mount Holyoke 26-3 and finished with a 5-0 advantage in corner kick chances.
