WENHAM, Mass. -- The Mount Holyoke College field hockey team cruised to a 7-0 victory at Gordon College on Tuesday night, rising to 5-1 with the Lyons' first five-game winning streak since 2017.
Senior Jayonna Montigny (Enfield, Conn.) scored three goals and added an assist in the win, and senior Sophia Guziewicz (Claremont, N.H.) pitched in another two goals with an assist. Sophomore Diane Lee (Boston, Mass.) scored a pair of goals, including first goal of the game, and sophmore Scout Climie (Guilford, Conn.) recorded an assist for the Lyons.
Gordon (0-6) was held without a shot, as senior Rachel Katzenberg (Reisterstown, Md.) and first-years Heidi Hausmann (Ashland, Mass.) and Julia Merriam (Ardmore, Pa.) shared credit for Mount Holyoke's fourth shutout of the season.
In addition to a 26-0 advantage in shots, Mount Holyoke had a 25-0 edge in penalty corners.
Allyson Stauffer made 14 saves for Gordon.
Mount Holyoke (5-1) will host Lasell Thursday at 6pm.
