Under the direction of 30th-year head coach Tina Lee, the Mount Holyoke track & field team saw action in 17 different meets in 2014-15. Pacing the way was junior captain Camille Coklow, who not only repeated as a NEWMAC Champion during the outdoor season, but was also a National All-American during the indoor campaign.

The Lyons had a solid opening to the indoor season at the Smith Invitational and went on to compete at the Tufts Invitational to open January. Sophomore Becca Rogers had the top performance in that meet, finishing third overall in the 800-meter run.

Inclement weather forced the cancellation of Smith's second meet, sending the Lyons to the Wesleyan Invitational the next weekend. Rogers continued to impress, winning the 800-meter run, while the 4x800 relay team of Rogers, junior Elizabeth DeLeon, first year Sunny Shan and sophomore Brianna Weir were victorious. Also highlighting the event were second-place finishes by Coklow (60-m dash), senior captain Dana Fry (5,000-m run) and DeLeon (1,000-m run).

Strong efforts continued to prevail as MHC competed at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic and later the New England Division III Championships, which saw Coklow finish third overall.

The squad continued on at the Open New England Championships, which saw both Fry and Weir finish strong, before heading into the ECAC Championships. Coklow took center stage, winning the 60-meter dash at ECAC's to further secure her spot in the NCAA Championships.

Appearing in her second Indoor National Meet, Coklow got things going in fine fashion, eclipsing her own school record with a time of 7.64 to advance to the National finals of the 60-meter dash. The following day, she became the first Indoor National All-American for Mount Holyoke since 2004 as she finished sixth overall with a time of 7.72.

As spring season approached, the outdoor campaign found itself interrupted by mother nature as the opening Wesleyan Invitational was moved indoors and MHC's own Spring Fling Invitational was cancelled. The outdoor slate finally kicked-off at the Sheehan Memorial Meet at Fitchburg State, which saw Coklow win the 100-meter dash.

At the Smith Invitational the following weekend, Coklow shined once again, winning the 100 dash, while helping the 4x100 relay team to victory. Other members of the relay included first years Shante Henderson and Maria Lewis, along with senior Amber Legare – who was also victorious in the long jump.

The Lyons continued to charge, heading into the Aloha Relays at Bowdoin with solid momentum. Fry won the grueling 10,000-meter run, while Coklow claimed victory again in the 100 dash. The following weekend saw MHC head to Cambridge for the 2015 NEWMAC Championships. Coklow repeated as the NEWMAC Champion in the 100 dash, garnering All-Conference First Team honors, while Fry finished fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a school record time. As a team, the Lyons were seventh overall.

The Lyons sent six student-athletes to the New England Division III Championships at MIT, including Fry, who finished sixth in the 10,000-m event. Coklow then appeared at the Open New England Championships, finishing ninth on the afternoon.

At the ECAC Championships, the Lyons saw two competitors in action. Coklow paced the performances, winning the 100-dash for her second ECAC title of the season. Her mark of 12.06 pushed her into the top-20 in the nation, securing her spot at Nationals.

Coklow, along with head coach Tina Lee, concluded the season at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University. Coklow finished 19th overall with a time of 12.55.

In addition to Coklow's many honors, the Lyons saw six student-athletes garner NEWMAC Academic All-Conference recognition, including three-time honoree Dana Fry '15.
