SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The Mount Holyoke College swimming and diving team saw the maximum four team members receive NCAA Division III Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators, as announced on Tuesday, with an all-senior cohort of Annabeth Loftman, Megan Schneider, Emily Tarinelli, and Kamlyn Yosick joining the prestigious squad.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Student-athletes need to compete in four competitions or finish top eight at a conference meet.
Loftman is a neuroscience and behavior major from Menlo Park, Calif.; Schneider is a data science major from Newton, Mass.; Tarinelli is a team captain and English major from Groton, Conn.; Yosick, a team captain and biochemistry major from Portland, Ore., earns the honor for a second consecutive year.
