Top event performances and highlights by Mount Holyoke included:

  • Senior Megan Schneider (Newton, Mass.) posted season bests in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle (25.89 seconds; 57.38 seconds) as well as the 100 yard breaststroke (1:13.62).

  • First-year Lucia Jacques (Grand Rapids, Mich.) dropped 8 seconds from their previous personal best in the 200 yard backstroke.

Overall, Mount Holyoke set 13 personal bests as well as nine season best times.

"Overall it was a great team performance," said head coach Dave Allen. "We had a significant number of people out because of illness, and team members stepped up to fill in where needed. A number of people set personal bests again. I'm proud of the resiliency and grit the team showed."

The Lyons are on the road for their next meet at Wheaton College along with Clark University on January 10th.
