SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Mount Holyoke College swimming and diving team competed at the Skidmore Sprint Invitational on Saturday, scoring in fourth place among six teams.
The Lyons' 266 points trailed Skidmore (550), Hartwick (396), and Vassar (346), while outperforming Bard (17) and SUNY Delhi (4).
"Today's meet was a lot of fun," said head coach Dave Allen. "We don't often do shorter events, so it's nice for the swimmers to race 50's. We also had people swim some off events, which is nice to see them do those. And the senior cannonball event is always a blast."
Top performances from Mount Holyoke included:
- Sophomore Isabel Dunn (Harbor Springs, Mich.) was a part of MHC's fifth-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay (1:59.26), and also placed sixth in the 100 yard backstroke (1:06.67), fourth in the 400 individual medley with a season-best time of 5:01.13, and seventh in the 100 individual medley (1:06.67).
