South Hadley, Mass. - August 24, 2022 - The Mount Holyoke College soccer team looks to build a strong program with the addition of 16 first-years and three newcomers for the upcoming 2022 season. The Lyons will open the season against Westfield State University at the Westfield State Tournament on Saturday, September 3 and then face off University of New England on Sunday, September 4 at the Westfield State Tournament. The first home-field opener will be against Colby-Sawyer College on Wednesday, September 7. Mount Holyoke's New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener will be an away game against Springfield College on Saturday, September 17. The season will continue facing off with some of the most competitive soccer teams in New England until the regular season ends with a home game against NEWMAC opponent, Wellesley College on Saturday, October 29.
