THE MATCHUP: The Lyons take to the court for their final NEWMAC regular season home contest against the Beavers of Babson College. Saturday's match marks the 27th all-time meeting between the two schools. Both teams have secured a spot in the upcoming NEWMAC Tournament, but seeding is still to be determined based on the outcome of Saturday's matches.

MHC Logo THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (5-3; 4-2 NEWMAC) grabbed a 7-2 victory at Springfield on Tuesday. The Lyons opened with a 3-0 sweep in doubles action, including the seventh victory of the season for senior My-Linh Nguyen and first year Margaux Holloschutz, who moved to 7-1 overall. In singles play, MHC shouldered defeat in the second and third flights, but won the remaining four singles as Eman Malik, Maya Sayarath and Holloschutz all improved to 7-1 overall in the fourth, fifth and sixth flights, respectively.

Opponent Logo THE BEAVERS: Babson (6-3, 3-3 NEWMAC) is coming off a 6-3 loss at the hands of Wellesley on Tuesday evening. The Blue opened the match with a slim 2-1 lead after doubles play, but posted a win in singles for a 3-1 lead. Babson answered with a win at one, with Alex Freeman topping Dianna Granger, 6-3, 6-3, to cut Wellesley's edge to 3-2. Erica Choo then put the Blue within one point of clinching it, as she topped Sarah Whitaker, 6-2, 7-5 at two. Catherine Matulis then sealed the match for Wellesley with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Alexis Ferraro at four.

NEXT UP: Both teams will prepare for action at the NEWMAC Tournament. First Round play begins on Wednesday with the Semifinals and Championship match played on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at Wheaton College.
