THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke hosts non-conference foe Westfield State University Tuesday evening (7:00 p.m.) at the Turf Field. This will be first meeting between the programs since the 1987 season, when Westfield State came out on top 3-0. The Lyons downed the Owls 5-0 in 1974. Match Program

MHC Logo THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (10-4, 5-2 NEWMAC) has used a balanced attack to outscore its opponents 62-18 thus far this season. Forward Shara Robertson has set the tone with 45 points on 16 goals and 13 assists. The Lyons have also received a boost from midfielder Kirsten Kilburn, who has racked up 11 goals and eight assists. Forward Jess Fajardo has scored 12 times, while midfielder Aurora Rougeau has dished out eight assists. On the defensive end, goalkeeper Katie Gibson has posted a goals against average of 1.28 and a save percentage of .820. She has received some help from Tricia Chase, who has racked up six defensive saves. 

Opponent Logo THE OWLS: Westfield State (10-5, 5-5 MASCAC) has dropped two straight matches after beginning the season with an overall record of 10-3. The Owls have been paced by forward Jessi Gould, who has tallied 10 goals and two assists. Fellow frontliner Jessica Donovan has recorded four goals and an assist, while forward Sarah Pliszka and midfielder Lauren Tavares have scored three times apiece. Amanda McCarthy has been Westfield State's featured goalkeeper. In just over 1,000 minutes played, she has posted a goals against average of 1.33. The senior has collected three shutouts with some help from Kelsey Carpenter, who has registered five defensive saves. 

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke will return to action on Thursday, when entertains the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth at 6:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Westfield State will close out its regular season with a MASCAC showdown at Salem State University on Saturday at noon.
