COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Mount Holyoke College swimming and diving team tied for the ninth-highest average grade point average among all Division III women's teams, thus receiving Top 10 Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Spring 2023 semester.

With a sparkling team grade point average of 3.75, the Lyons were one of 718 men's and women's collegiate swimming and diving teams to earn the honor across the country.

Among Division III women's teams, Mount Holyoke's GPA is tied for ninth place with Macalester, Oberlin, and Whitman, and only 0.01 points behind four teams that are tied for fifth place (Anderson, Case Western Reserve, Smith, and Washington College).

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
