Soccer Teams-Up with Coaches vs. Cancer

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Mount Holyoke College soccer team and head coach Kanae Haneishi have teamed up with the American Cancer Society's Coaches vs. Cancer initiative.

On Saturday, October 11, when Mount Holyoke hosts Wellesley College, fans will have an opportunity to take part in fund-raising activities that will benefit the life-saving work of the American Cancer Society and its Coaches vs. Cancer initiative. Game time is 12:00pm at the Mount Holyoke soccer field, located at 50 College Street in South Hadley, Mass.

Donations will be collected on-site, the day of the game, as well as online, by clicking here. We hope you will come out and support your team for this great cause because with everyone's help there will someday be a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) that empowers all coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy  programs.
