LEWISTON, Maine (Sept. 3, 2010) – Junior Nahrhee Han and sophomore AnnElizabeth Konkel represented Mount Holyoke College at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III New England Regional Championship over the weekend. The three-day tournament was hosted by Bates College.
Han suffered a 6-0, 6-1 setback to MIT's Vynnie Kong in the opening round of the singles draw.
She also teamed up with Konkel in doubles, falling 8-0 to Victoria Aiello and Leah Kepping of Middlebury College. Aiello and Kepping went on to win their next match before falling in the quarterfinals. They entered the tournament as the third seed overall.
Mount Holyoke (2-5, 1-3 NEWMAC) will return to action on Tuesday, when it visits Clark University for a NEWMAC contest beginning at 5:00 p.m.
