The Mount Holyoke golf team competed in eight tournaments during the 2010-11 season. Junior Alexandra Irish set the tone, racking up five top ten finishes. The Lyons also received a boost from senior Sarah Keating, who placed within the top ten on two occasions.

Sarah Keating After opening its season at the Dartmouth College Invitational, Mount Holyoke hosted its annual Invitational the following weekend. Irish turned in a brilliant performance, finishing in seventh place overall with a two day score of 157.

The Lyons followed that with fifth place showing at the Middlebury College Invitational. In addition to Irish's fifth place finish, Keating secured tenth place overall. One week later, the team took home fifth place at the Williams College Fall Classic. Irish and Keating finished in a deadlock for eighth place overall with their matching tallies of 167. Mount Holyoke closed out its fall slate with a fifth place showing at Wellesley College's Ann S. Batchelder Invitational. Irish carded a two day score of 169 to secure ninth place at the event.

At the conclusion of the fall, longtime head coach Shawn Durocher left the program after ten seasons. She was replaced by Northampton Country Club owner Tim Walko, who guided the Lyons through three more tournaments in the spring.

Led by Keating, Mount Holyoke finished eighth at the Vassar College Invitational. The senior ended the weekend in 15th place overall. One week later, Lyons competed in the Jack Leaman Championship, where Irish claimed 10th place with a tally of 167. They closed out their season with a sixth place performance at the Williams Spring Invitational. Irish and Keating tied for 14th place overall with identical scored of 167.
