Tennis Quartet Takes Part in ITA Championships

Natalie Hsiang WELLESLEY, Mass. (Sept. 19, 2010) – Four members of the Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team participated in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III New England Championships over the weekend at Wellesley College and Babson College.

Sophomores Nahrhee Han and My-Linh Nguyen each fell in the first round of the singles competition. Jacqueline Shen of Wellesley defeated Han, while Kristin Alotta of Williams dropped Nguyen.

In doubles play, senior Natalie Hsiang and Sarah Moore were ousted in the first round by Amherst College's Jordan Brewer and Gabby Devlin.

Mount Holyoke (0-1, 0-1 NEWMAC) will return to action on Wednesday, when it travels to Connecticut College for a non-conference match beginning at 4:30 p.m.
