MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - Action at the 2015 Middlebury Invitational has concluded and the Mount Holyoke College golf team finished seventh among the 12 teams at this year's event. The Lyons posted a combined score of 721. Williams won this year's tournament with a total score of 642, outpacing second-place Amherst by 14 strokes.

Leading the Lyons this weekend was junior captain June Conti, who finished in a tie for 11th overall, shooting 75 on day one and 89 on day two, for a combined score of 164. Classmate and fellow captain Allison Shilling finished in a tie for 26th on the weekend, notching a 83 on day one and an 89 in the final round for a total of 172.

Junior Amanda Lee was 39th on the weekend, rebounding from a 93 in the opening round for an 89 on the final day and a combined score of 182. The Lyons also saw junior Vladislova Paskova place 59th with a score of 203 (95-108), while senior Katie Poulin finished tied for 67th with a score of 217 (109-108).

Mount Holyoke returns to action next weekend when it competes at the Williams Fall Classic, hosted by Williams College at Taconic Golf Course. Action begins on Saturday and runs through Sunday.
