Golf Currently 10th at NYU Invitational

SUFFERN, N.Y. – Action at the first day of the NYU Invitational has concluded and through the opening round, the Mount Holyoke College golf team sits in 10th place overall. The Lyons posted a score of 354, trailing Williams College, who leads with a score of 304.

Leading the Lyons was junior captain June Conti (Amenia, N.Y./Miss Porter's School), who sits 24th after day one with a score of 84. Classmate Heeamin Lee (Chestnut Hill, Mass./Brookline) is 33rd with a mark of 88, while junior captain Allison Shilling (New Canaan, Conn./Choate Rosemary Hall) is 35th with a score of 89.

Junior Amanda Lee (Winsor, Conn./Ethel Walker School) is currently 50th with a score of 93, while junior Vladislava Paskova (Sofia, Bulgaria/American College of Sofia) rounded out the team score in 62nd with a score of 102.

MHC senior Katie Poulin (Scarborough, Maine/Catherine McAuley) is playing as an individual and sits 61st with a score of 99.

The Lyons continue play at the NYU Invitational on Sunday morning.
