COMPLETE DIII TOP 15 POLL / LYONS ROSTER

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. — The Mount Holyoke College women's rowing team made its season debut in the USRowing/CRCA Division III Top 15 this week. The Lyons checked in at 15th in the poll.

The Lyons had a solid effort last week to move into the national rankings as they competed against WPI (then ranked-#3), Hamilton (then ranked-#12), Washington College (then ranked-#13), Clark and Johnson & Wales.

Mount Holyoke, which is led by second-year head coach Seth Hussey, saw both boats competing advance to the Grand Finals as the varsity eight placed third behind WPI and Hamilton, but ahead of nationally ranked Washington College. The second varsity eight also had an outstanding effort, finishing fourth overall in its Grand Final.

The #15 Lyons return to action this weekend as they head to Lake Quinsigamond to compete against Clark, Simmons and the University of Rochester. Action gets underway with the first race, the varsity-eight, beginning at 10:20am. The second varsity eight goes off at 10:30am with the varsity fours getting underway at 10:40am.
