PUTNEY, Vt. - It was a fall-opening kind of day for the Mount Holyoke College rowing team as several members of the squad competed at the 2018 Green Mountain Head Regatta on Saturday afternoon. The Lyons put three 2x boats into the women's event, seeing one finish inside the top 10 on the day.

Pacing the Lyons were juniors Hannah LeBlanc and Elizabeth Hazen, who powered their boat to a seventh-place finish in a time of 22:09.0. Finishing 13th in the event was sophomore Sabina Morris and rookie Shoshi Daniels, who notched a time of 24:39.6. Rounding out the effort for Mount Holyoke were sophomores Gabrielle Spano and Molly Aslin. The pair crossed the finish line in a time of 25:52.6 - good for 18th overall.

MHC is now idle until October 13 when it competes at the Hadley Chase Regatta. That event is hosted by UMass-Amherst.
