WORCESTER, Mass. (Apr. 9, 2011) – The Mount Holyoke College women's crew team faced off against Smith College, Trinity College and the College of the Holy Cross today on Lake Quinsigamond. Trinity grabbed top honors in each of the races.

Mount Holyoke finished fourth in the first and second varsity eight races with times of 7:15.0 and 7:39.5, respectively.

The Lyons' first novice eight boat crossed the line in 7:45.9 to secure third place in its race. Their second novice boat competed in the same race, taking fifth place with a time of 8:29.1.

Mount Holyoke will return to Lake Quinsigamond tomorrow to compete against Clark University, Simmons College and Franklin and Marshall College.
