  • 2013-14 Track & Field Year In Review

    Under the direction of 29th-year head coach Tina Lee, the Mount Holyoke track & field team saw action in 14 different meets in 2013-14. Pacing the way was sophomore captain Camille Coklow, who was a NEWMAC and New England Division III Champion, as well as a participant at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
  • Coklow Concludes Season at NCAA Championships

    It was a season's-best performance for Mount Holyoke College sprinter Camille Coklow at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, as she posted a time of 12.06 in her preliminary heat. Despite the outstanding run, Coklow finished just outside of those advancing to Saturday's finals, placing ninth overall.
  • Coklow Headed Back to NCAA Championships

    The NCAA has announced the participant field for the 2014 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Mount Holyoke College student-athlete Camille Coklow is among those that qualified in the 100-meter dash. The championships, which begin Thursday and run through Saturday, will be held at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.

Highlighting the day was sophomore captain Camille Coklow, who won her preliminary heat in the 100-meter dash to qualify for the event finals.

    Junior Amber Legare wrapped-up the action for Mount Holyoke College at the multi-divisional 2014 Open New England Championships, hosted by Westfield State University. Legare competed in the final three-events of Heptathlon on Saturday, which included a third-place finish in the javelin throw.

  • Coklow Garners Lyon of the Week After NEWMAC Victory

    Sophomore Camille Coklow was named the Lyon of the Week after capturing her first NEWMAC title at last week's championships, hosted by Mount Holyoke. She claimed victory in the 100-meter dash finishing tops in a field of 19 runners.
  • MIT Claims NEWMAC Men's & Women's Track & Field Championships

    The Massachusetts Institute of Technology men's track & field team compiled 250.50 points and the Engineers women garnered 224.333 points to win the 2014 NEWMAC Track & Field Championships, held today at Mount Holyoke College. It marks the 14th straight title for the MIT men and the sixth consecutive title for the Engineers women.
  • Track & Field Posts Strong Outing at Aloha Relays

    It was a record breaking day for the Mount Holyoke College track & field team, which finished sixth at the 2014 Aloha Relays, hosted by Bowdoin College. Both personal and school records were eclipsed in Saturday's action, paced by junior Amber Legare, who had an outstanding effort in the gruelling heptathlon.

    Powered by a number of outstanding efforts, the Mount Holyoke College track & field team finished fourth of eight teams at the Smith College Invitational. Competing under sunny skies and warm temperatures, the Lyons saw four victories on the day, led by sophomore captain Camille Coklow.

    The Mount Holyoke College track & field team finally opened its outdoor season on Saturday, competing at the non-team scoring Wesleyan Invitational. The Lyons were paced by a number of outstanding efforts, including a school record and win by junior captain Dana Fry in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
  • Weather Causes Spring Fling Invitational Cancellation

    The Mount Holyoke College Spring Fling Invitational, scheduled to take place on March 29th, has been cancelled due to conditions on both the track and surrounding competition fields. The winter weather build-up has made both venues unusable for this coming weekend. The meet will not be made up.

    Several members of the Mount Holyoke College track & field team were in action on Saturday at the New England Division III Championships. There were a number of outstanding efforts, including a seasons' best mark in the weight throw for senior captain Kristina Weld.

    A number of solid efforts, including a win in the 60-meter dash by sophomore captain Camille Coklow, saw the Mount Holyoke College track & field team perform well at the 2014 Gordon Kelly Invitational at MIT on Saturday. Coklow posted a season-best mark of 7.94 to outpace the field in the 60-meter dash.

    The Mount Holyoke College track & field team competed at the multi-divisional University of Southern Maine Invitational on Saturday. A number of solid finishes helped the Lyons to 10th overall, including a fourth-place finish in the gruelling 3,000-meter run by sophomore Elizabeth DeLeon.

    Anchored by a number of solid efforts, the Mount Holyoke College indoor track & field team had a strong opening to its season at the 2013 Smith College Winter Classic. The event, which was a non-team scoring affair, saw five individuals boast top-10 finishes on the afternoon.
