Weather Causes Spring Fling Invitational Cancellation

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. - The Mount Holyoke College Spring Fling Invitational, scheduled to take place on March 29th, has been cancelled due to conditions on both the track and surrounding competition fields. The winter weather build-up has made both venues unusable for this coming weekend. The meet will not be made up.

It has been a tough opening to the outdoor season for the Lyons, who were set to open the season today at Westfield State, a meet which was also cancelled due to weather and field conditions.

Mount Holyoke looks to open its season on April 5 when it competes at the Wesleyan Invitational, beginning at 11am in Middletown, Conn.
