MANCHESTER, Vt. - Junior Hannah Finn-Erb scored at the 15:00 mark to lead Mount Holyoke College to a 1-0 road victory at Southern Vermont College on Saturday night. With the win, the Lyons move to 2-1-0, while the Mountaineers are now 0-3-1.

The game's lone goal came at exactly 15:00 on the clock in the opening half as junior Minerva Veeser-Bobea crossed the ball from the right to Finn-Erb, who banked it into the back of the box. Mount Holyoke had a number of opportunities in the first 45, outshooting the home Mountaineers by an 11-7 margin.

In the second half of action, the Lyons continued to have a number of chances, owning a 9-5 edge in shots for the frame. In the 65th minute, senior Dale Leonheart dropped a corner in to classmate Alex Kenoian. Her shot came in low from 40 yards out before being scooped up by Taylor Jarosz.

The Lyons went on a run late in the frame as shots from Lilydahn Stewart and McKenna Lamb both tested Jarosz, who made the consecutive saves to keep the Mountaineers within striking distance. MHC held on down the stetch despite a late yellow card in the closing minutes.

For the game, senior keeper Amanda Manaster earned the victory with five saves, while Jarosz recorded nine stops.

The Lyons return to action on Tuesday when they host Western New England University at 6pm.
