SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Ada Siepmann scored two goals, Anna Kennedy added two more on a pair of penalty kicks, and Mount Holyoke College rolled to a 5-0 win over Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Monday, in the teams' first-ever meeting.

The host Lyons are 2-0 for the first time since 2013, after exerting constant pressure on the Buccaneers (0-1) and outshooting the visitors by a 36-2 margin.

Siepmann (Vlotho, Germany) scored two hard-nosed goals, putting the first score of the game up in the 23rd minute, and making it 3-0 with the first goal of the second half.

On the first play, sophomore Charlotte Moynihan (North Attleborough, Mass.) hit a long entry pass from the right wing towards the middle of the Bucs' half. Junior Avery Livingston (La Grange, Ill.) got a toe on the ball to poke it to Siepmann, who gave the ball a touch and bounced off a defender before shooting past Bucs goalie Brady Deschamps.

Siepmann's second goal, coming in the 66th minute, was scored off the rebound of a save, following a penetration and hard shot on goal by first-year Dalia Luckhardt (Cerritos, Calif.).

Kennedy (Glendale, Wis.) was taken down and drew a penalty kick once in both halves, and the sophomore midfielder made the Buccaneers pay both times. In the 26th minute, she beat Deschamps with a hard shot into the right half of the net, and in the 76th minute she scored again with a similarly placed shot, this time against substitute goalie Reagan Kerecz.

First-year Sage Hudson (Washington, D.C.) then made a great play to score her first collegiate goal, making the game 5-0 just 12 seconds later. Hudson intercepted a pass right off of the game restart, then executed a give-and-go with sophomore Jane Harmon (Ashburnham, Mass.) before tucking a masterfully placed shot under Kerecz's reach and inside the far post.

First-year Evie Krieg (Frisco, Texas) started in goal for Mount Holyoke and made one save in 86 minutes, combining for the shutout with senior Shannon Breen (Upper Saddle River, N.J.).

Mount Holyoke stays at home Wednesday at 7pm to play Keene State at 7pm.
