NCAA Championship Info / Meet Information

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Mar. 4, 2013) – The NCAA has announced the participant field for the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships and Mount Holyoke College student-athlete Camille Coklow is among those that qualified in the 60-meter dash.  The championships will be held this Friday and Saturday at North Central College in Naperville, Ill.

Coklow, a native of Chicago, Ill., is one of 15 to participate in the 60-meter dash. Her qualifying time of 7.71 has her ranked in a tie for fourth in the field. She posted her qualifying time during the preliminaries of her event at the ECAC Championships last weekend. Coklow ended up third overall in the event and also placed fifth in the 200-meter dash.

A former standout at the Latin School of Chicago, Coklow has had an impressive rookie season. In addition to recording multiple school records, she participated in a number of championship meets. One of her top outings came at the New England Division III Championships, where she finished second overall in the 55-meter dash and garnered All-New England honors.

Additionally, Coklow has been outstanding in other events. Among her top non-track performances came in the long jump at the Springfield Invitational, where she won the event with a distance of 5.29 meters.

Coklow becomes the first Mount Holyoke athlete since 2004 to head to the NCAA Indoor Championships. The last student-athletes to compete at indoor Nationals were Langhan Dee '04 and Johanna Thomas '04, both of whom garnered National All-American status at the 2004 Championships.

The 60-meter dash is scheduled for Friday at 5:20pm, while the finals will take place on Saturday at 2:40pm. The top eight competitors earn All-America in each event.
