CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (May 7, 2011) – Four members of the Mount Holyoke College outdoor track and field team took part in the New England Division III Championships this weekend. The three day competition kicked off on Thursday and concluded today. It was hosted by MIT.
Angelica Pascual represented the Lyons in the 100-meter dash, grabbing 14th place with her time of 12.83. The sophomore also ran in the 4x100-meter relay along with senior Jacinta Edebeli, junior Gizelle Fletcher and sophomore Maddie Ballon. Their time of 52.25 was good for 13th place overall.
Host MIT secured the team title with a score of 141.5. The Engineers were followed by Williams College (138) and Tufts University (96). Bowdoin College (62) and Colby College (46) rounded out the top five.
Mount Holyoke has now concluded its 2011 season.
