Sewell set to compete at NCAA Regionals this weekend

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke senior Maddy Sewell will compete for a chance to advance to the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, as she competes this wekend at the NCAA Division III Northeast Regional Diving Championships for the second straight year.

The 2024 NCAA Diving Regionals will be held at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Divers will compete on the 1-meter board on Friday and 3-meters on Saturday. Eight in total will advance to NCAAs, which will be held March 20-23 in Greensboro, N.C.

A year ago at the 2023 NCAA Regionals, Sewell (Scottsdale, Ariz.) finished eighth in 1-meter diving and 12th in 3-meter diving. She has won two All-NEWMAC and four NEWMAC Diver of the Week honors in the past two years.
