SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Nov. 6, 2012) – The NEWMAC has announced its All-Conference Team in women's soccer and Mount Holyoke College sophomore Hannah Yee has been named to the Second Team for her efforts. It marks her second straight All-Conference honor, having earned Second Team recognition as a first year.
A native of Amherst, Mass., Yee played in 16 games for the Lyons, including 15 as a starter. She led the team in a number of categories in 2012, including goals (9), assists (3), points (21), shots (34), shots on goal (28), game-winning goals (2) and penalty kicks (1-for-3).
Yee, who is a former standout at Amherst Regional High School, had a number of outstanding efforts this season to pace the Lyons, including scoring both goals in a 2-0 victory over NEWMAC-rival Coast Guard on September 22. Just a few days later, she added four goals and an assist in a 9-0 victory at Bay Path.
Last season, Yee was the Lyons' leader in goals (6) and points (13), while also adding an assist. She was second on the squad in shots (30) and shots on goal (16), while also tallying a game-winning marker.
Mount Holyoke closed out its 2012 schedule with a 3-12-2 record, going 2-7-0 in conference play.
