THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke returns to its home field on Tuesday against area-rival Western New England at 4pm. This marks just the second all-time meeting 
between the two schools, with the Golden Bears winning the first match in 2011 by a margin of 2-1.
THE MOUNT HOLYOKE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (0-4-1, 0-1-0 NEWMAC) fell to #7 Amherst and NEWMAC-rival Smith last week. Sophomore netminder Mackenzie Randall posted a combined 20 saves over the two contests, including 13 against the nationally-ranked Lord Jeffs.
THE WESTERN NEW ENGLAND GOLDEN BEARS: Western New England (3-4-1, 0-1-0 CCC) is coming off a tough home stretch last week in which they shouldered losses to UMASS-Boston, Springfield and the University of New England. First year midfielder Rachel Suntag tallied the lone goal of the week for the Golden Bears.
NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke hosts the Coast Guard Academy on Saturday for at 1pm, while Western New England travels to Nichols for a 5pm game on Tuesday.
