Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Academic HonorsAugust 19, 2014The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced the Division III Academic Squads and Mount Holyoke College was named one of the 125 institutions to earn the distinction for the 2014 season. To be recognized, teams must have a collective grade point average of 3.0 or greater.

Bell & Kilburn Named ECAC First Team All-StarsJune 02, 2014The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2014 Division III All-Stars in women’s lacrosse and two Mount Holyoke College student-athletes have been recognized. Sophomore Julia Bell and junior Kirsten Kilburn were both First Team selections for the Lyons.

Two Garner All-Region Lacrosse HonorsMay 12, 2014The IWLCA has announced its All-Region teams and two Mount Holyoke College student-athletes have been recognized. Sophomore Julia Bell and junior Kirsten Kilburn were both named to the All-Berkshire Region Second Team. This marks the second straight honor for both players, who were Second Team honorees in 2013.

Three Named Lacrosse All-ConferenceApril 29, 2014The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has announced its All-Conference selections in women’s lacrosse and three Mount Holyoke College student-athletes were recognized. Julia Bell and Kirsten Kilburn were named to the First Team, while Catherine Ryan was selected for Second Team honors.

Lacrosse Suffers 18-17 Loss to MIT in NEWMAC QuarterfinalsApril 23, 2014Sophomore midfielder Isabella DiDio netted the game-winning goal with 1:16 to play, lifting the fourth-seeded Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) lacrosse team to an 18-17 come-from-behind victory over fifth-seeded Mount Holyoke College in the Quarterfinal game of the NEWMAC Tournament. The Engineers improve to 12-5, while the Lyons slip to 8-8.

Bell Named Top NEWMAC Offensive PerformerApril 21, 2014The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has announced its weekly awards and Mount Holyoke College student-athlete Julia Bell has been recognized. The sophomore attacker was named the Offensive Performer of the Week after posting 15 goals over two games last week.

Lacrosse Shoulders NEWMAC Loss at SpringfieldApril 12, 2014An eight-goal day for senior midfielder Emily Fowler (Branford, Conn.) paced the Springfield College women’s lacrosse team to a 21-15 victory over Mount Holyoke College on Saturday afternoon at Stagg Field. With the victory, the Pride improve to 7-6 on the year, and 4-1 in the NEWMAC. With the loss, the Lyons fall to 7-6 overall, and 2-3 in conference play.
