  • 2013-14 Cross Country Year in Review

    The Mount Holyoke College cross country team boasted a solid season in 2013, guided by third-year head coach Jennifer Adams. The Lyons ran to three top-10 finishes and were 24th or better in all eight meets. MHC was paced by junior captain Dana Fry and sophomore Elizabeth DeLeon, who combined as top finishers in each race.
  • Cross Country Finishes Well at NCAA New England Regionals

    Paced by outstanding efforts from multiple runners, the Mount Holyoke College cross country team placed 24th of 53 teams at the 2013 NCAA New England Regional Championship, hosted by the University of Southern Maine. Leading the way for the Lyons was Elizabeth DeLeon and Dana Fry, both of whom finished in the top-95 in the event.
  • Cross Country Competes at NEWMAC Championship

    Led by a 30th-place finish from junior captain Dana Fry, the Mount Holyoke College cross country team placed eighth of 11 teams at the 2013 NEWMAC Championship, hosted by Babson at Franklin Park. Overall, the Lyons saw two runners finish in the top 50 in the 5k event, which was won by MIT.
  • Cross Country Competes at 2013 Seven Sisters Championship

    Led by a 12th-place finish from junior captain Dana Fry, the Mount Holyoke College cross country team finished sixth overall at the 2013 Seven Sisters Championships, hosted by Smith College on Saturday morning. The Lyons saw four runners finish in the top-50 of today’s event, including Fry, Elizabeth DeLeon, Liz Baker and Hillary Detert.
  • Cross Country Competes at Open New England Championships

    The Mount Holyoke College cross country team took to the course on Saturday, competing at the 2013 Open New England Championships at Franklin Park. The event, which featured teams from all divisions, saw the Lyons compete in the sub varsity race with a team of five individuals. MHC was paced by sophomore Elizabeth DeLeon.
  • Cross Country Competes at Keene State Invitational

    Three runners finished in the top-45 to lead the Mount Holyoke College cross country team at the 2013 Keene State Invitaitonal, hosted by Keene State College. No team scores were kept at the 5k event, which featured 152 runners. Highlighting the effort for the Lyons was junior captain Dana Fry, who was 12th overall.
  • Cross Country Finishes 15th at UMass-Dartmouth Invitational

    Junior captain Dana Fry paced the Mount Holyoke College cross country team on Saturday at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. In a field of 29 teams, the Lyons placed 15th overall, aided by Fry's 18th place finish in the field of 207 runners.
  • Cross Country Finishes Sixth at Franklin Pierce Meet

    Junior Dana Fry finished second of 120 runners to lead the Mount Holyoke College cross country team at the 2013 Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup, hosted by Franklin Pierce University. Overall, the Lyons placed sixth as a team in the 10-squad field.
  • Cross Country Opens 2013 Season at Smith Invitational

    Junior Dana Fry finished 13th overall to lead the Mount Holyoke College cross country team at the season-opening Smith Invitational. The Lyons finished 11th overall in the 18 team event, which saw Amherst take home the team title on the women's side.
