Chris Kibler will enter his sixth season at Mount Holyoke College and fifth season as the head coach of both the cross country and track and field programs during the 2021-22 academic year. Additionally, Kibler serves as a lecturer in the Department of Physical Education at the College.

At Mount Holyoke College

  • NEWMAC Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year (2019)
  • Helped the cross country team to a second-place finish at the 2019 NEWMAC Championships, the program's highest finish dating back to the 1992 season.
  • The Lyons second-place finish in 2019 was a significant improvement on Mount Holyoke's 10th-place finish in 2017.
  • Coached Hannah Rieders '21 and Madeline Rieders '21 to USTFCCCA All-America honors in the women's 5k during the 2019-20 season.

Coaching Experience

Playing Experience

  • All-American track and field student-athlete (Mile) at Fitchburg State
  • Holds a number of Falcons' records, including the 1500-meter, one mile, two mile, 3k, 5k, DMR and the 4x800 meter relay.
  • Four-time MASCAC Champion
  • Recipient of the Paul K. Waring '38 Athlete of the Year Award (2014)
  • 2012 MASCAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Year
  • Fitchburg State Athletic Leadership Award Recipient, a four-time MASCAC All-Academic selection
